Arid Foundation is a registered charity (No. 1147207) dedicated to empowering individuals through housing, education, support, and advocacy. We focus on those facing barriers due to homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, or learning disabilities.
Inspired by values of dignity, opportunity, and inclusion, our services are designed to support people holistically—helping them thrive in safe environments and build sustainable futures. We also work to amplify voices of lived experience and challenge social inequality at its roots.
We provide stable accommodation with practical and emotional support, tailored to the individual’s journey, whether short-term or long-term.
Our team delivers workshops and 1:1 mentoring on budgeting, cooking, tenancy skills, and personal wellbeing—building confidence and independence.

We promote access to mental health, substance recovery, and physical healthcare services, with personalised support plans and signposting to local resources.
We support people into education, volunteering, and employment, including partnerships with local colleges, training providers, and employers.
We champion co-production and lived experience, giving people a platform to shape their services and inform local and national policy change.
Arid Foundation supports individuals in communities across Bristol and the UK. We operate a range of supported living settings, from shared housing to single-occupancy placements, with wraparound support suited to local needs.
We continue to grow our network and deepen our partnerships to address housing vulnerability and empower individuals to achieve sustainable independence.
